STERLING – A group of Sterling Community Association members has been working hard the past several months in preparation for this weekend’s performances of “Inspector Detector and The Case of the Missing Treasurer” at the Sterling High School gymnasium.

The Community Play is an annual production of the Sterling Community Association.

Written by Christopher Gieschen, this year’s play is a comedy that takes place at Precious Mansion and encourages crowd participation.

When Pauline Precious (Hannah Winemiller) inherits her grandfather’s estate, she tumbles into an evil plot filled with zany excitement!

The yucky Baroness of Braunschweiger (Stephanie Porter) also has her eyes set on the treasure.

Along with her bumbling helpers, Mack (Allie Walter) and Jack (Sydney Porter) she tries to snatch the treasure away from poor Pauline.

Enter our hero, Inspector Detector (Shawn Harms), who is prepared to solve mystery after mystery (such as the haunting ghost) and defeat the Baroness and her unsteady duo.

Other cast members include James (Ross Zuhlke), Fran (Mindy Cross), Lou (Missy Wentz) and Chief Clinker (Cas Prather).
