Seventy members of the Johann and Anje (Agena) Hestermann family gathered at the Firth Community Building on Sunday, July 30 for a reunion with visiting, camaraderie and picture taking of families etc.  A good time was had by all. The children and some adults enjoyed the splash pad in the park across the street.

A special treat of delicious kolaches made by Steven and Sherri Weiss were well received.  The reunion will be held next year at the Firth Community Building on July 29. Remember the date and be there and bring updates and memorabilia to be shared.

There were 18 Red Hat ladies who ventured to Clatonia on Aug. 8 for enjoyable evening meal.

The Red Cross Bloodmobile was in Adams on Monday.  The number of appointments was great and with walk-ins it should be a great help for the Red Cross to help with their summer shortage!

School starts in most area schools this week.  Please be aware of children coming and going on the streets!

For August, the weather has been very delightful!

Saturday, the 19th is 'Community Day' in Adams.  Come and join in the activities.

And, of course, Monday, Aug. 21 is the 'Solar Eclipse'. A very historical day!
